Sounds kind of like Les Claypool playing the Whamola. Pretty cool sound.

What a finely tuned stick-box-string thing (with rock).

elgabalo "What a finely tuned stick-box-string thing (with rock)."

I'm guessing that you are about equal parts amused at the crap he's using to make music and impressed with the music he teases out of that crap. (You can tell me if I guessed wrong.)
My 10th grade English teacher hated self-referential definitions, but I insisted then, and I insist now, that art is what an artist makes, and an artist is someone who makes art. So with music. Think of the opening scene of 'Porgy and Bess'.

semichisam very much impressed; it has a pleasant, full and complex sound (fingers crossed on those being relevant terms), but it's just a stick, a can and some wire being thwacked with a rock and a rod.

elgabalo It was kind of ... heavy metal... meets Mongolian goat-herder. Sounded pretty cool though. No complaints here.

squrlz4ever I don't know if it's resonance or harmonics that links them together (I tried looking it up to seem smart, but I'm not sure); that distant, wandering sound. If you like that you should listen to the oud , if you haven't already.
