Looks pretty tranquil.  But man that would be one hell of a miss-step.

Crunch.

That hovercraft fan didn't like the camera's shutter speed.

boredhuman It really didn't, did it? I loved this video. Makes me a bit homesick for Finland, in fact.

squrlz4ever You are from Finland?  They don't have squirrels in Finland, just reindeer and lost russians.

daegog Not from there; I lived there briefly long ago. I really shouldn't be using the term "homesick" but that's what it feels like.

squrlz4ever Sometimes I get that for places I lived in Taiwan, China, and even Germany (which I only spent a month in).  At times, it will be something on the breeze or a certain sound and I will be right back there.  It's odd to me that it never seems to happen with the places I lived in the U.S., though.

faustsshadow Yush. I think you know exactly what I'm talking about. I think it's because when you're in a different culture, your brain lays down a bunch of neurons and dendrites to cope with this environment that is so different from everything it's known: new language, new foods, new streets and buildings, even new cloud shapes. Years later, something can trigger a neuron from that space and you feel like you're visiting a small ghost town in your brain of treasured memories.
