And for anyone doubting the part where the bilby gets lifted by the wind, there is a place in Hawaii that does the same thing I believe it's called the Kauana polley, (please excuse the spelling may be wrong its been a long time) Its a sheer cliff dividing the north side of Oahu, from the south side a couple of thousand feet straight up.The winds will blow against it so hard that people have jumped from the top and landed with only minor injuries. When you stand on its edge and put your face over the cliff face its like putting your face into high power blower. Quite an interesting effect.

casaledana  Torrey Pines cliffs above Blacks {nude beach} has high winds.
The hang gliders don't need to jump from planes, they just approach the cliff
and the wind takes them. They sail back and forth all day.   You stand by the
edge and they sail past a couple feet away in the wind. Great hamburger shop
there as well.

Gerry1of1 Answered my question before I even asked it. Thought it may have been a wallaby with artistic license at first.

casaledana  the creature in the short is to tiny for a wallaby. I think it is a Jerboa ( kangaroo mouse)

I had no idea what a bilby was prior to this submission. According to Wikipedia, it's a "desert-dwelling marsupial omnivore." Not a rodent, although it looks rodent-ish.

Gerry1of1 Definitely a bizarre twig on one of those isolated Australian branches of the Tree of Life.
