Comedy Writer and Actor Bob Einstein Dead at 76

Einstein was best known for his character "Super Dave."

Off the wall doesn't begin to describe just how eccentric Super Dave was. Subtle humour was not his forte, lolz! Below is Super Dave's debut and first stunt, from the "Dick Van Dyke & Company" show.

Bizarre was a fantastic show.  I miss it.  Super Dave was just a segment, but the rest of the show was great.

One of my boyhood heroes.  Never was epic failure so amusing.

gohikineko No problem.  CICGC can be hit or miss but there are some great episodes that are wonderful conversations about the workings of Comedy.

What will become of his sidekick, Fuji?  At least no more Saskatchewan seals will be killed for their fur that was used for his safety harnesses.
He will be missed.

I used to stay up way too late as a kid to watch Carson and Letterman. I've never seen anyone be so funny and so deadpan serious at the same time. Never saw him laugh once in my life.
