Georgio Moroder, or as he is know in the industry, just Georgio, is one of the early musicians that pioneered the use of Synthesizers that eventually inspired modern electronic music.  In this track by Daft Punk, Giorgio is used as the catalyst to create an homage to early electronica.  The guy can still rock

This is a pretty solid album with a very retro feel.  I really enjoyed it when it came out but there was a lot of hate for it as well.  This track in particular has a nice grove.

kalron I was on the fence with this album. I liked several of the songs, but I think for the most part it played homage to an era of music that I wasn't around for to be able to really appreciate what Daft Punk had done here.

Although now that I say that, pretty much all of the music I like, I wasn't alive when it came out. Well, I just don't know then.

yelloow12 Daft Punk songs are hit and miss with me, too.
At its core, music is about repetition, and this song is a great example of a very simple melody repeated over and over. For the same reason, I liked Motherboard

boredhuman Oh yeah Daft Punk is the master of that. Ok that's a nice lighter melody, something nice to have on in the background.
