Why do they wear shoes? They don't have hand shoes, so what's the point?

Also, the claims of grandiose scientific breakthrough with this discovery aggravates the hell out of me. It's one family. I really kept thinking this would be an Onion report.

I vaguely recall reading an article years ago, that claimed homo saps really aren't engineered for walking upright.  The fact that we do exacerbates back and joint problems.

kelly_hanna Evolution is very often about trade-offs. Also, these problems tend to show up in later life, which for many would not have been an issue.
