"this represents good and America becoming whole again.  We will no longer outsource to other countries. We build factories here in America and create jobs.  We will provide jobs for all who are free from prisons as we abolish the 13th amendment. Message sent with love"

Kanye has gone bye-bye...

kalron sorry, Kanye abolishing the 13th Amendment would never fly. It's cheaper to use machinery than negros to pick cotton.

I can't view the video because I'm in a faraway 3rd world country called Canada.
Does the clip show Kanye...or as he now wants to be called... Ye's rant at the end of the show?
If not, here ya go.
Kanye rant.

oobaka   The clip is Kanye and some other guy I never heard up dressed
up as bottled water {Kanye is Perrier} walking around stage repeating "I love it"

It's nonsensical idiocy, but he's smiling like he's some genius for thinking it up.

He's a fucking idiot, but I lay the blame on Lorne Michaels for giving him the platform. There are dozens of signed, but lesser known musicians who deserve a shot at SNL, but the show would rather book Kanye because they know he's going to make a spectacle of himself. Spectacles equal ratings.

I think Kanye gets a bit of an unfair rap. I think the main thing he's going out is saying no one owns him or his vote because he is black. He feels that political tribalism has formed a new form of control and 'slavery'. It's expressed poorly but the more he gets attacked for it the more he's going to double down on it. To him Trump may say racist stuff but he sees black unemployment is lowest on record and jobs are coming back to USA. Thats why he supports him. Like with the evangelical Christians they support him because Trump is or either trying to do what they want his personal failings or what he says doesn't matter to what he does. Considering pretty much every major person in history has bad sides thats not that crazy.

How many times I've seen this in UK with people saying X are natural Labour voters. Like why? In power or not they still get the shitty end of the stick. Why should they vote for them naturally.

Kanye West needs to avoid all attempts at humor.

He always struck me as a borderline sociopath, I do not think he understands other people at all, clearly he doesn't get humor.

daegog And it seems like he probably surrounds himself with "yes men" afraid to tell him his ideas are dumb as shit.

rammo34 Eh, I at least give him props for standing up for what he believes in and holding to it. Might be crazy or dumb but he's allowed his opinion and fair play to him. I just think that he's so rich and insulated that he's totally lost touch with the rest of us and inside his head all this makes sense, he probably can't understand why us plebs are not hanging off his enlightened ramblings. Still ... its his opinion and I support his right to it.

rammo34 Seems to be incredibly common these days among rich people.

I look at it like this, if i was working for Kanye and I knew he was a raging asshole that fired anyone that disagreed with him, I would shut up too, better to get a paycheck and let him look like a fool than to get fired.

I typically see the leader as the main problem, in these situations.

daegog I'd have never worked for him, or quit as soon as I discovered my mistake. There's more to life than a paycheck and many paychecks to choose from.
