Looks more like a smarter version, and a slightly less orange one, of our clown in chief.

melcervini Thanks for that information, Mel. I was trusting that the German lyrics weren't anything horrible, but had no idea. Great to know what's actually being sung.

A man in England was just convicted of a hate crime for filming his dog making the Nazi salute (and making Nazi comments -the man not the dog):  http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-43478925

layla_wilson we've owned it for so long, there's a reason we never made Scotland a part of England.

nettech98 Interesting. But really, I think that situation can be described more accurately as follows: "Man convicted of a hate crime for training his girlfriend's dog to respond to statements such as 'Gas the Jews!' with a Hitler salute and putting video of it on YouTube." Once you know what some of the statements were, it puts things in a different light.

What about this parrot video? Do you think it's funny or were you offended by it? I think it's hilarious because of the incongruity. The parrot is so charming, innocent, and blissful and has no idea that he's doing what, to humans, resembles a Nazi goose step. Had the video included any Nazi slogans or anti-semitic remarks, I wouldn't have found it funny and I absolutely would not have submitted it to IAB.

squrlz4ever I thought it was funny.  I may have even found the dog video funny if not in extremely poor taste had I been able to watch it.

And thanks for the correction Layla.  I saw BBC and made a bad assumption.  Maybe I should have said UK?

squrlz4ever It wouldn't have mattered if it included words about Nazis.  Free speech is free speech, especially with comedy.  It does not matter if someone is offended - subjectivity has no place in free speech.

squrlz4ever I thought it was funny.....if your offended by this then your probably a snowflake. Like you said the parrot has no idea what he's doing. Lots of people would have knowingly associated this with the Nazi walk.
