I did method 2. It worked very well!!
The good thing about a cheat slip is that you abstract everything you need to know...
While doing so you learn your stuff just along the way and in the end you don't need the cheat slip.
It´s just for "safety"

Why hide a little info in your pen etc. when you can hide a lot in your brain? Probably in less time too.

Seems like a lot of time and wasted effort if caught.

Alternatively, abandon your kids and adopt an asian or jew.

I had to take a couple of exams that relied on remembering several formulae. I scratched the ones I knew I'd need into the barrel of a clear Bic pen, and just idly "twirled it in thought" when I needed one. I kept an unmarked pen handy should an invigilator come near. It wasn't stuff that I would use in my career, and I wasn't too concerned.

I don't get why people cheat, especially at uni.. What happens when you get a job, can't do anything and get fired? You will never get a job again and waste 40K of your own money

I can't see any of these methods actually working.

Why go to all this trouble to cheat yourself out of learning something? Just learn it, pass the test and succeed at life.

Or just revise. Which I am doing now, exam in a fortnight, so clean house, weeded garden, ironing done.... and frankly- cheating is just stupid as you are fooling yourself- just do the damn work. Or the ironing- either is fine.

These really made me laugh. So much work, and they would not work in any advance class that one would need to actually graduate. Perhaps the techniques would work in high school or introductory factoid based college level classes but certainly not a "real" course that required you to apply your knowledge.

Wouldn't it be less effort to just study?

You know, the entire reason you're in school...to actually learn this stuff...not how to pass tests.

Oooooooor.... you could just frickin' study instead of taking the time and effort into cheating. Damn.

Method 11 : Spend the time you would have spent trying to MacGuyver a way to cheat studying for the dang test.
