Interestingly, the fight between Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris in "Way of the Dragon" involved actual contact, in order to make it look more realistic. It was choreographed, of course, but the blows were landing.
In a World Net Daily interview, Norris recalled:
In 1972, Bruce was directing "Return of the Dragon" and wanted me to be in it. "I want you to be my opponent. We'll have a fight in the Coliseum in Rome," Bruce said with excitement. "Two gladiators in a fight to the death! Best of all, we can choreograph it ourselves. I promise you the fight will be the highlight of the film."
"Great," I said, "Who wins?"
"I do," Bruce said with a laugh. "I'm the star!"
"Oh you're going to beat up on the current world karate champion?"
"No," said Bruce. "I'm going to kill the current world karate champion."

90% of these are choreographed fights from movies. His true speed and skill could only really be appreciated when he's demoing stuff. I would love to see footage of him in an actual fight. That would be amazing!

As I said in an earlier post, Bruce was so quick that even the slow-mo cameras of the day didn't catch half of his moves.
Imagine what we could've seen using ultra slow motion cameras and bullet-speed cameras that are used today.

Only Bruce Lee would be fast enough to read those texts without missing what happens on the screen.

I have nothing but awe and respect for Mr. Lee but I saw all these things fine without slow motion.
