Growler beer.
Mmm, fermented growler.
Maybe not.

I went to their site and found this when I tried to order one.

"No New Orders
We apologize, we are going through some business changes and regret to inform you we are
not taking any new orders at this time."

Bastards. I was seriously going to order one. Seriously, close down the f*cking site or post a notice on the home page. Don't waste my time.

Well, I know what beer is, and I know what a growler is, so...no, thank you.

Growlers are quite popular here in Atlanta - there are storefronts set up that you bring your growler in - the store will sanitize the inside, and fill it for you. If you don't have a growler, you can get one for a low deposit (like the Blue Rhino propane tanks) and do the same thing. Some stores have over 200 different types of craft and micro-brews available for filling.

Great culture if you want to try new and different types of beer, and don't want to invest in an entire six/twelve pack or case. Also great for parties; you can offer a variety.

Sounds like the narrator isn't too fond of work, and is content to hold onto that old bucket until some woman buys him a new one ... and fills it with beer.

'Well there ain't no use of me working so hard, when I got a woman in the boss man's yard'

What was that about? The bucket with a hole in it is some kind of metaphor? Why is he still holding the bucket?

How big? Hate to try to pull a pint or two into one unless that neck is way broader than it looks..

Those are really nice. Good to see old ideas like this turn up in a new form.

What about the days of beer in buckets?
