Again, fine, if they have there "research" and "data" that's great. But don't waste trillions of public money on plocy that is based on things that no one can possibly know to be true. Stop hurting people with your alarmist crap! It's freakin' cruel.

@OldOllie
I really have to laugh at the idea of you calling someone else "stupid and irrational," talk about pot-kettle-black! Anyway, you post a 'shopped pic from a London demonstration protesting a Danish newspaper to prove America was bombed for our freedom? Way to twist in the wind, mOldie.

Maybe we should form rock-solid, unchanging, unflinching opinions based upon political ideals?

That seems the most productive way to interpret scientific opinions!
We can back up our opinions by copy/pasting stuff from google searches! There is no way a biased search will lead to biased results!

Here is a chart showing how lameness of this subject on IAB has increased over time...

@DinVen Truth doesn't make for very good sarcasm.

That sounds just as irrational and stupid as "They bombed us because they hate our FREEDOM!"

By which one may infer that it's not irrational and stupid at all. Rather, it is your point of view that is stupid and irrational.

Liberal hoax, some say. But of course 99.999% of all climate scientists are liberal and set their political agenda before their professional pride, all of them.

How gullible and ignorant do you have to be to believe in that? Never mind paranoid! For crying out loud...

"nothing but a liberal hoax so they can boss us around and take our stuff."

That sounds just as irrational and stupid as "They bombed us because they hate our FREEDOM!"

Oh give me a f*ckin' break with all these global warming theories. Can we just agree to not give any credence to any of these theories until scientists are done contradicting each other?

Wish they would make up their minds. I read we are overdue a mini ice age. Which is it, speedos or fur coat?

*Off of this Planet and focus on Interplanetary travel and colonization. Right now we are at that tipping point of capable of destroying ourselves outright to pushing past that and developing into a interplanetary species

I honestly don't know when we'll see the serious side effects of green house gas emissions. What I do know is Oldollie and 5Cats, You CAN RECREATE a greenhouse effect on a smaller scale. Our planet doesn't exist outside the boundaries of science. You can almost think of it as a controlled enviornment. If you keep pumping Carbon into the air the planet is going to heat up, if you can replicate it on a smaller scale that generally means it's doing the same thing at the large scale the only difference is time. Obviously the bigger an object is the more time it takes to see the effects of it. Regardless, our sun is going to burn hotter and hotter and hotter anyways so global warming will happen one way or the other (But we are talking millions of years at this point).

We really should treat AGW as a serious threat so we our economies can focus on space and interplanetary travel and colonization. That's the next step for us. Developing the power of a planet so we can get of

The models they previously used were proven to be complete nonsense, but these new and improved models are spot-on. And, as they claim, the previous models were only contradicted by observable temperatures because of clouds, or was is heat being stored in the deep ocean?

One of the reasons i am so sceptical of AGW is that the best way to deal with it would be to reduce the Earth's population - all developed nations have a falling birth-rate as it is but are importing millions of immigrants to make up for loss of tax revenue. Coincidently, more taxes is also the cure for AGW.

When are these Nazi bastards going to realize that we're onto them. We've figured out that AGW is nothing but a liberal hoax so they can boss us around and take our stuff. We're not buying it anymore.

BTW, I bought a lifetime supply of incandescent light bulbs last year, so all you libs can just suck it.

Sorry @madduck: they have Zero point Zero idea what the world will be like in 86 years.

87 Freaking Years!
AGW failed to predict the last 15 years! Never mind decades from now.

Wait a second: 87 years? "Four score and seven years from now..."

>> I predict the world will end in 117 years unless every human on Earth... sends me $1.00... I encourage folks in 'developed nations' to send me $50 to cover for the poor in 3rd World countries.

You -Cannot- 'disprove' my theory, so start sending!
