It was not the judge that let him get the probation it was the system, plea deal and him being in juvenile court. No matter what sentence he got they would release him when he turned 18. Now if he violates his probation after he is 18 he will get jail time for probation violation. There is a difference in punishment when one is charged with 1st or 2nd degree murder like the 14 year old and drunk driving causing death.

I hope Daddy bought him high coverage insurance, or he'll be formerly affluent.

So the judge hands down a offensively light punishment to a kid who killed 4 people and wounded 7. That's a huge piss off, but she also gives a kid 10 years for 1 (probably) accidental death.
What a dumb cun*t

It's OK, it's 'judgefluenza'.

Was there ever any doubt it was all about money?

The right thing to do is to remove her as judge, and her pension should be forfeit (after all, I'm sure she's getting a nice payday from this asswipe's parents).

"a condition in which his wealth and privilege kept him from understanding the consequences of his actions"

So instead of FINALLY giving him some consequences, she lets him walk. DUH.

I still boils down to money. No one would take the poor kid, I'm guessing because his parents couldn't afford the yoga lessons and maintenance of the horse.
