While I'm not okay with bullying, I can't totally condemn it either. Getting bullied back in my school days was a large part of what made me the stronger and tougher person I am now. If you really want to stop bullying then learn how to throw a punch, you don't get bullied near as much once you make yourself a harder target.

If I saw that that guy would have a broken nose and two black eyes.

LandoGriffin couldn't agree more. As a girl I've actually interfered a couple of times but ONLY when it seemed like the person wasn't under the influence of alcohol or drugs and not acting overly insane, because regular guys usually don't hit girls (at least where I'm from).
This video actually made me kind of angry, putting people on the spot like and acting all self-righteous about it...

LandoGriffin, agreed. I think you're likely to stop someone you're pretty sure you won't be targeted, or think absolutely wouldn't attack you. I was attempted mugged on a pretty packed train car in NYC by 6-7 thug types, and people pretended to not see what was happening... even though I yelled for a couple of big looking guys for help. It was eerie, a bunch of people staring straight ahead. Luckily, I was able to break free when the doors opened at the stop and high tail out of there (it was also my stop).

I started watching, and when the actor playing the bully said to the bystander (by-sitter?), "why didn't you help?" I don't understand why he didn't immediately answer "because you would have beaten the crap out of me" - that's what I would have said!

I noticed a pattern: two types of people helped: women, or guys who were stronger than the bully (black guy in sweater who filmed it, and the guy for whom the actor said "you did a great job") The people who walked away: all smaller and weaker than the bully, and would have gotten beaten up.

I would have walked away, too, because the bully would have beaten me up.

You bet. That type of behavior doesn't happen around me. It's beyond not acceptable.
