This is cool ....I remember every one of the shows in the list ...Molly shannon as the girl who did not swing her arms.... they are real and they are spectacular! When was the last tv show you saw where you can quote a simple line and people know what you are saying?

And I've never seen a single episode.

JJ, out of Wakeman's catalogue, I'd say that there are maybe 10 keepers: 6 Wives, King Arthur, No Earthly Connection, Criminal Record, and Out There. I'm leaving room for a few more that I've never heard.

Ollie, do you know Wakeman's "Criminal Record" album from '77? A solid effort. Very nice piano piece called "Birdman of Alcatraz" on that one.

Got to see Wakeman with Yes during the '72 "Close to the Edge" tour. That was when he used to do the solo spot with the sirens, smoke, flashing lights, etc. What a show.

Jason Alexander made his film debut in a 1981 slasher film called "The Burning" (with music by Rick Wakeman, no less) ...

Rick Wakeman is brilliant. Close to the Edge is without question one of the greatest albums ever made. That being said, he's also one of the most whorish hacks in the music business. He's turned out over 100 solo albums, and most of them are pure dreck.

I don't know how many of those I'd call "pre-fame". Many of them were known by that point.

I checked several of them on IMDB, and every one I checked had numerous credits, some going back years, before they were on Seinfeld. Brian Cranston had 63 credits over 12 years before he first appeared on Seinfeld.

With the exception of a few of these, I have no idea who any of these people are, save for their appearances on Seinfeld.

Interesting, i didn't know Anna Gunn was in seinfeld, but they missed Bob Odenkirk "better call saul" who was the med student who dropped Elaine because he became a Dr, and that was some kind of rite of passage. "The Abstinence" (21 Nov. 1996)

Most of these actors aren't very famous- and ALL of them have credits predating Seinfeld.
