...1st of August by an 18 wheel rig. He'd been rushed to hospital and died at 10 to 10pm in our time zone.

One year later at 10 to 10pm, I fell off of a cliff and shattered two of my vertebrae resulting in a weeks stay on a neurology ward and one spinal fusion procedure.

The following year, on August 1st at 10 to 10pm my firstborn came into the world, seemingly balancing out the negativity of previous years. His middle name is the given name of the departed friend.

When I was 17, my Ex was bidding farewell to a friend who was embarking on a tree planting venture. When my Ex said that she would see him later, an involuntary and calm voice in my head said, "No, you won't".
On the morning of August 1st, I was heading to a job interview on bike and a car struck me. I was uninjured but rattled and fled the scene. The first building I entered in search of a phone was the one that my Ex's mother worked in and my Ex just happened to be there.
She encouraged me to return though I didn't wish to. An officer was parked on the intersection and I approached him but after some discussion, it was evident that he thought that I'd intentionally tried to harm myself. I was cuffed and taken to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
My Ex was arrested for Obstruction of Justice.
I met her for her release at 10 to 10pm that evening, right after my discharge.
A week later we discovered that the friend had been hit on his bike on the

I was getting some Chinese food, takeout for my family one afternoon. It happened to be my birthday as well. The waitress asked me why we didn't come in and dine that day and said I had a birthday cake waiting for me at home. She said, "It's your birthday too?"

long story made short...

We not only shared the same birthday and year, but we were born in the same hospital only 4 hours apart.

The next year we celebrated our birthdays together at the Chinese restaurant.

I found this article fascinating because I have experienced a lot of stuff like this my self. Honest true story, I used to work at whole foods and a couple with a boy maybe 2 years old sat down next to me on my lunch break. I smiled at them and felt a very interesting feeling from boy. Like I was looking at my self being 2 years old. I felt like we were communicating with each other in some weird way. The boy had a very strong fascination with me, he kept smiling and laughing at me. His mother said "Ben look over here." I smiled at the family and said "My name is Ben too" I asked when his birthday was, they said March 7, which is my birthday as well. I said my parents are David and Pat, they both stared at me blankly and she spoke up, His name is David and my name is Patricia. All 3 of us stared at each other in disbelief, I think they thought I was stalking them, but I was just as shocked as they were, but I was very calm on the outside

My friend and I were on a trip in Europe and met some Spaniards on the train to Prague. We parted ways there. After a few days in Prague we made our way to Berlin and had a stop in Dresden. The same group happened to walk into the same railcar and compartment as us in Dresden! What a funny coincidence.

Twain was 74 when he died, a pretty fair age for the time, and if he had convinced hilself that he was going to die then could have contributed to the heart attack.

Operation Barbarosa's timetable was drawn up long before Stalin opened the tomb.

The phone call and the 'small people' coincidences are just annecdotes with no evidence.

I was going home on the ferry one day and I get dropped off, head upstairs and get settled on the boat, pull out my ipod and hit shuffle on five thousand songs and what pops up first?

@5cats, #3 talked about Genghis Khan's tomb and the curse it put on Stalin, and your issue with it is the date they said Stalin learned of Hitler's invasion?

(in my best Jim Carrey impression) Alrightythen! :)

Here is one a lot of people don't know.

John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, both former presidents of the United States, died on July 4th 1826. That was the 50th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

#3 Um, not quite! Stalin didn't believe the reports of Nazi invasion even ON the morning it happened, June 22. He delayed reacting for several hours, thinking it was some sort of mistake. It wouldn't have made any difference, but he did NOT learn of the invasion "the day before" (June 21). Even if he did? He certainly didn't believe it...
