razbitom: Pinball Wizard and King's Island were not "mass produced", they were one-of-a-kinds.

There could be much bigger than those though. Pong has been played using the lights from a skyscraper. So a virtual pinball machine could be made that is just as big, perhaps using video projectors.

that's not the world's largest pinball machine. pinball wizard and king's island is much larger.

Loved pinball as a kid. Online versions aren't the same.

Also used to enjoy the "sink the battleship" and "haunted house" games at the local bowling alley (all done with mirrors) back in the Stone Age.

And, let's not forget those Light Cycle games that hit the pizza shops after TRON came out.

I never thought I'd ever see the Hercules pinball machine again. Got to play it only a few times. When i went back to the same arcade a few months later it was gone.

@Tacos4Brkfst: you REALLY should put that link in the suggestions

It's AWESOME! I clicked the "virtual tour" and right away found one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE machines: "Centigrade 37"

Yes, I played a lot of pinball as a child...
Video games as a youth...
Computer games as an adult...

Everyone go visit the Pinball Museum too! After watching a few of @Gottamgear's videos on this post, of course

Too short!
Oh wait... there's more on autoplay! Hooray!

The collection in the second video is EPIC!

Aww, 3rd video isn't about the museum. Still interesting though! 4.0!!

I live about 1 1/2 hours from there, and I have three kids. I've never been. How sad is that?

shameless plug for the pinball hall of fame in vegas

Ran across this place on vacation by complete accident, it wound up taking more quarters from me than the casino's.
