HE wants to change the constitution so HE can run for president...it is obvious that he does not want any personal benefit out of it.. Stick to movies dude or not even that....try singing

Armed with either a lack of understanding or a lack of agreement with the revolving debt mechanism, he broke California.

It'd be a bad idea since the planet's economy is now dependent on the US maintaining the cash flow in and out.

ONLY if Sly is VP and the cast of Expendables comprise the cabinet.

On a serious note, NO.

Arnie was a Republican in name only, aka RINO.

Besides he wouldn't run anyways.

Hell, No! He destroyed the California economy [just like a republican]
I can't imagine the damage he'd do on a national level.

Quote from Demolition Man, a movie from 20 years ago set in what is now the near-future:

Lenina Huxley: I have, in fact, perused some newsreels in the Schwarzenegger Library, and the time that you took that car...

JohnSpartan: Hold it. The Schwarzenegger Library?

Lenina Huxley: Yes. The Schwarzenegger Presidential Library. Wasn't he an actor when you...?

JohnSpartan: Stop! He was President?

Lenina Huxley: Yes! Even though he was not born in this country, his popularity at the time caused the 61st Amendment which states...

JohnSpartan: I don't wanna know. President...

Would you vote for him if he could run?

It would depend on my other choice(s). In a Republican primary? No way in hell. Against Hillary? I'd vote for my garbage man, and I've never even met him.

@artmunki: it was indeed! And he served more than 2 terms too, because they overturned that amendment for him as well! lolz!

It's part of an on-going "friendly rivalry" between Stallone and Schwarzenegger to mention each other in their movies.

@Mad_Gremlyn: It's sad, pathetic even, that you cannot tell the difference between:
#1 Legally & properly amending laws.
#2 Simply IGNORING laws.

Obama was REQUIRED BY LAW to produce his paperwork: not JUST his birth certificate! But he refused, simply saying "It's in a vault in Hawaii" and that was "good enough" for the Democrat Selection Committee! Who needs to 'follow rules'? NOT the Democrats! NO records, grades, thesis papers, LSATS, NOTHING from Obama.

McCain, otoh, not only provided ALL his paperwork? He went to court to ensure it was ALL "legal and clear".

But @Mad_Gremlyn? Don't let little things like FACTS distract you!

I love this! I've been saying, for years, don't you republitard idiots remember "Amend for Arnold?" The birther idiots have been trying to bury this for years. The GOP wanted to amend the constitution for Arnold since he got into politics BUT the birth certificate losers wanted to undermine the Obama victory by replacing racism with constitutionalism. LOL You GOP idiots are dumb and you're forgetful by your own convenience! Obama=born in America. Arnold Not= born in America; but it's cool because the GOP deems it so. Bow down to your GOP dogma - whatever it happens to be on this particular whim.

Wasn't this a gag in Demolition Man? Did he see that movie and fail to realise it was meant to be a joke?

No, he won't run and no, he wouldn't win.

He's a "squishy" form of Republican anyhow.

And while the Constitution *might* someday be amended? It won't really make too much difference in who runs for PotUS...

Well, since he was an absolutely horrible governor of California, the answer is NO. But his ineligibility makes the question moot. This divided congress would never approve a constitutional change by 2/3 on ANYTHING.
