This was hilarious ten years ago. It's cute to see it posted like it was something new.

How did she ever get a job at Hooters?

By being a dumb bitch and having only slightly above average looks. At least, that's all I've ever seen working a Hooters...

@auburnjunky: "The contest said TOYYODA not TOYOTA!"

Upon what do you base that claim, aj? Cite your source. I suppose you were working at that Hooters at the time? (Bet you look so cute in those orange shorts!)

According to court records, it was a month-long contest between several Hooters locations and her manager periodically dropped little gems like wondering if the prize would be a car, truck or suv or whether the winner would have to pay for tax and registration on the vehicle. Does it really sound like her fault for expecting a Toyota as she was repeatedly told? (And no, numbnuts, it was never listed as a TOYYODA as far as I could find. Please prove me wrong.) I'm guessing that, to you, most women are "dumb bitches" and deserve everything they get, right?

It could have been a new Toyoda (car company president actual surname.)

Of course it would be a toy Yoda.
There is no real Yoda.

In fairness, that Toy Yoda, is now probably worth more than a toyota.

freddyferret you have a long way to go before you understand business. Quite often companies motivate staff by offering an award for superior performance. It is the NET total effect on the bottom line they care about NOT the net effect of one employee.

They are not non-nice individuals, and she should NOT have won a settlement!

The contest said TOYYODA not TOYOTA!

Did she bother to open the Yoda to find the check from George Lucas?

She 'won' the case in a settlement BTW. Supposedly was able to buy whatever Toyota she wanted.

I don't think they're assh*les (nice that it can be used in the description but not the comments...assh*le). They used a play on words, and probably did it as a prank. Seriously, what sane person would think that getting the most beer sales would be worth a car? There isn't THAT much profit in it, unless it was for a year or something.

She needs to chill the eff out. She's way over the top, and the lawyer probably laughed at her behind her back too. Of course he'll take her case and her money, she'll lose, and have less money and pride than she did to start.
