No "false Shuffle".
When he "memorized" the deck he looked for the positions of the cards he wanted [the Aces] then he shuffled/manipulated the deck to bring the cards into the positions he wanted them in for their reveals.

Truly slight of hand since he is always in complete control of the deck and where the cards were positioned.

Just like 8 perfect shuffles will put the deck in the exact same order that it started in, this man knows how to control and manipulate a deck of cards just like a Rubik's Cube master.

Look up Dr. S. Brent Morris [a mathematician and computer scientist] if you want to see an amazing card master.

Good work. What you have to do is a false trick. Make something legit look like a trick to mask the real trick.

So he did "false shuffle" (when they say it, they enunciate it... poorly...) BUT not to the point of positioning the Aces, just to get them in a place he could pluck them out?
Then he simply 'palmed' the Ace at the end.

The psychological decoy (memorize the 'deck') really was nicely done too.

His herky-jerky shuffle method looked clumsy, but probably is the result of YEARS of practice...

The second trick (one handed) he'd either marked the Aces (with a dent or bend) OR he'd positioned them and then pretended to shuffle. Notice how he didn't 'memorize' the cards the second time? OR show all 52 cards before he started trick #2 (because 1 card was gone by that point).

Amazing, all right. It's not like he even handled the aces beforehand in order to mark them. Somehow, faces down, he managed to find out where they were! Whu, as the say, thu fuh?

What I was waiting for and what would have REALLY impressed me is if all those 'false shuffles' led to all the cards left in the deck being in the right order...

That would have been a bona fide cardgasm!
