So, if you're planning a terrorist plot, you just use code words instead?

@DrProfessor

Usually it would refer to freely available software, which developers could 'fork' or use/elaborate upon, but in this case it means 'open'/unencrypted websites which webcrawlers traverse through. Google does this for it's search engine, or the Wayback Machine does for archiving.

Say if you have a website domain, and on that domain there are several urls to pages within that domain. The bot will look at each of those pages, run whatever procedure, and keep going until all 'available' pages are noted. You might have say one page which isn't directly linked to; that wouldn't be detected by said web crawler. If your facebook page cannot be accessed without the need for cookies or other clearance, you should be fine too (provided that said website isn't providing a backdoor for the NSA)

DrProfessor, it's software that's been produced with source code available, sometimes designed out of contributing parts under a license requiring the source code to be available: Linux, BSD and the like...

It would be safe to say that 99% of those words I use just for work. This is ridiculous.

The binder specifies "open source information" and "from open source media"

What does that mean, exactly? Are we talking public facebook and twitter posts? Comment sections?

We could shorten this by just listing words they aren't looking for instead...

Am I the only one to notice that this is all in English? Perhaps terrorists only speak English.

"NOPE! Since Oct 2011 they have NOT been surveilling Mosques!"

You don't actually believe that, do you? Hahaha! They say they're not doing it but I guarantee they are. The last few weeks you've been saying you don't believe a word the gov't says but you conveniently believe that they're not actually keeping their eyes & ears on mosques so you can be "outraged" over that.

Right now, I can see a host of things that would false positive on any group's conversations about online gaming strategy.

After that, I see every conversation ever about equipment failure due to crappy neighborhood power management...

I'm trying to be open minded but, this looks an awful lot like the leading edge of McCarthyism.

If that list renders anything more than busy work for a group of over-sized creepers, I'll eat a hat.

@Tupinambis: NOPE! Since Oct 2011 they have NOT been surveilling Mosques!

Article Here!

So your Grandma says "I got massacred at the Bridge table!" = she's getting listed! But Mosques which tell their members to kill infidels? Immune!

Welcome to Sharia USA! Hope y'all like long sleeved shirts...

Anthrax, hahaha! I remember the anthrax scare after 9/11/01 when the band had to shut down their website for awhile and then put up a disclaimer because they were getting so many hits the server kept crashing.

Nice format for the words (too bad it didn't quite fit though).

Yup! In another IAB post it suggested "baiting" the NHA? Well: here's the words to do it!

Some of my personal favorites:
Watch, Snow, Ice, Storm, Help...
"Help! A snow storm made my watch ice up!"

Subway (makes sandwiches) Smart (isn't very) Power? Bridge (a card game) Pork (a kind of sandwich, see: Subway)

& etc.

So basically the DHA is watching IAB, because half those words/terms have been typed here at one time or another.

So if I were to type all these words out, even if in a single string, the DHA will be monitoring me?

(I was going to type all these words out right here, but laziness got the better of me)
