Intriguing idea, but it sounds to me like she's essentially just using the DNA data to generate semi-random numbers to plug into her face-generating software. Without verification that any of the facces actually look anything like the people the DNA came from, all you really have is a completely baseless claim.

I am that stage too. Although i am not a techno-sceptic I can't believe this story tells the complete truth.
I think there's quite a lot to learn here to end up with 'art' like this.
You have to conceive the idea, learn the techniques, test it and perfect it to the stage it is now. And because there are a lot of fields of skill to cover i think there is more to this story then there is told here.

She's a genius !!!! She not only learned about DNA from scientists in the lab but she also wrote the program to use the files of information returned from labs to create what that person looks like.

She watches you drop your gum, sketches you, picks up the gum and creates a 3D image of you and creates an incredible back story

What the government can do is about 20 years ahead of what is available to the public.

History [since WWII] bears this out time and time again.

Yeah, that whole field of "forensic research" is still at the "snake oil" stage.

Not to say it won't work some day, but certainly not now.

Interesting, thing is Patcholy- there is no way of really knowing how accurate it is. Look at the model of the artist next to her- they are not THAT alike, just reasonably similar.

If this procedure really worked, the FBI, CIA, et al would be all over it by now.

I don't buy this. As far as I know, you can't get that kind of information from DNA.
