For one of my jobs, I drive a paper route at night and see tons of deer, I find they tend to run along side paralleled to the front of my car then bolt into the road. Rabbits are the worst, they wait in the grass till your just about there and then bolt into you wheel at the last second. Raccoons are usually smart, but they can freeze if they are in the middle of the road.
@5cats: cats are bad too they'll be 3/4 across the road see the car then run back across the road to the previous side.

The last 20 seconds were the most hilarious part.

I once ran over two skunks doing the deed in a snow storm. Can he imitate that one? (I would have avoided them if I could have.)

He did the dog well too.
He didn't do a cat? How could he not imitate a cat?
Cat saunters along, sees car coming, stops, then bolts away at the last second...

One could add raccoon:
One comes out and lopes across the street as if you're not there.
A second comes out and lopes across the street as if you're not there.
You wait, and finally start to go, and a third lopes across right in front of you.
In my area, I've learned to wait for number 3.
