pretty intense, also poor dog. on another note, i was surprised at how many people worked on this in the credits.. i'm sure something like this could have been pulled together with about 10-20 people at most.

If there was just a computer lab, or basketball court, or more laws, or more federal money..... this would never happen.

...Thus, the child is 'possessed' due to the mother's very own selfish indulgences. (So it kind of serves Jesus right for ignoring the bitch since she's dug herself and her daughter into this situation.)

(PS Sorry if I offended anyone of the Christian faith with my interpretation.)

I disagree coffeekoneko. I think that Kenzo was supposed to be the allegorical representation of the Father's beast. We see it as a deceptively cute puppy because the father cares for it, nurtures it and holds it dear at the expense of all else.

I have stumbled upon this allegory before while subjectively interpreting a story from the Book of Matthew. In it, a woman approaches Jesus and asks him to perform an exorcism on her daughter. Jesus ignores her 'cause god instructed him to be racist (he's only supposed to help the lost Jews) but she keeps on bugging him. He tells her that it isn't fair for her to take her daughter's food and feed it to the dogs. To me it made sense that this passage referred to the mother's neglect. She puts all her energies into feeding her animals (which could potentially be interpreted as addictions or pervasive character flaws etc.) that she doesn't have anything else left to care for her child...

She should have backed up and run over him a couple more times just to make sure.

It's not his fault he hits her. Blame it on the schools.

This did show the abuser's side. He's one of thousands of disturbed people -- men and women -- who have no ability to control their rage. The result was the only solution the mother had. It (the video) was good, if depressing. I want to know 'the rest of the story'

the father had the chance to save his son. now, the son may not grow up to be the monster his father was, but he will grow into some kind of monster.

Oh sure, make him the ass hole.
How come there are no movies showing the abuser's side of it!
