when my sister was off on maternity leave 30+ years ago, the black lady who substituted for her was telling us about her niece who had just had a child. 'oh how nice, what's the baby's name?', i asked. to which she answered, 'some damn stupid n****r name!'

HA! Davymid, I agree. My stupid in law has 4 kids, two named Addison and Jaxon. I hate those retarded names. Even my spell checker doesn't like those names. |

Anakin is boring. Here in the UK we had a woman call her kid Ikea. Said kid is coming up to 13 in May and must be getting some terrible grief at school. Others include Caramel, Moet and Rocky. There are far too many Chanel's too. |

I only mention this because I moved to North America a few years ago (Canada) and my 6-year old Grade one daughter has a kid in her class called Anakin. I poo you not, some projecting wanker named their offspring after Darth F*cking Vader. Not even the real Darth F*cking Vader mind you (that would have been an awesome name for a kid), but named after Darth Vader back when he was a gay crap kid.
Also, she's in love with a kid in her class (apparently) called Jaxon, and they're going to get married and have babies. Yes, you read that right. I know this, because his redneck mother has "JAXON" tattoed down the inside of her left forearm, I'm met that crazy woman. Her most recent, current wife is called Adysyn. Not Madison mind, but Adysyn.
