As a scientist myself, I can say that most scientist are full of poo as well, they lie, cheat, fabricate data and simply choose theories and arguments which fits the data just to get published. It angers me! |

i think that when debating someone with an opposing theory scientist become equally enraged as politicians or theists. |

People find and lose faith all the time. They also change their positions on political issues and even switch parties, although this is more often done for cynical reasons rather than a true change of mind. |

Scientists aren't all that intellectually honest. Many of them become very defensive when confronted with contrary evidence and will even try to "hide the decline." |

Yep, accepting that their whole life's work is completely useless should be pretty hard to accept. It's not very hard to believe that some would go into denial.
Still, science doesn't care. You can believe whatever you want and deny whatever you want, it still doesn't matter since science is based on evidence, not beliefs. |

Even Einstein rejected some of the claims quantum physics was making that are scientifically correct. |

Cause unlike Religion and Politics, Science has a procedure called the scientific process that can "Prove" a theory, or at least show some good evidence to support it.
Things you can reproduce so easily, can't be proven. But that doesn't mean they aren't true. |
