Well, the caregiver isn't french so maybe she misunderstood what the patient wanted when he said "Oui, Oui". *snicker* get it?

Saturday, March 16, 2013 10:02:21 PM So who's more stupid: the "caregiver" who does this absurd "therapy" or the fool who fasts for 40 f*cking days and drinks pee because she says to? I'm thinking it's a pretty even split. |

Saturday, March 16, 2013 8:14:04 PM This is caused by neuropathies (points of low blood circulation) in the extremities like fingers and toes. It is common in long term diabetics. The toe is swollen and infected and needs to be amputated. It is most likely caused by a bone infection that spread from the inside out so merely saying the skin looks ok is not enough. By the time a bruise appears, it will mean that the underlying tissue of the foot is already dead. Urine can work as a sterilizing liquid due the high amount of ammonia in it, yet drinking it is useless and is quickly reprocessed out of the body. Bleach would be better and silver-nitrate strips would be the best for sterilizing that type of infection. The fact that he's losing weight fast is not a good sign either. Infections like these can spread strait up the leg and often result in death if the infected tissue is not treated with heavy doses of antibiotics, clinical sterilization, and in this case amputation. |

@ paperduck - Urine therapy has a fan following who claim it cures things from gangrene in the video to diabetes to cancer. In this video, the patient went on a 40 day water & urine fast. Along with Urine Wraps {Clothes dipped in urine and wrapped around the wound}. He's on fruit and urine at the time of this video. Gross enough for ya? |

Saturday, March 16, 2013 6:38:55 PM @squiriz4sale Not to mention the fact that she's starving a patient with clearly uncontrolled diabetes for up to 40 days and celebrating his weight loss. He also in and out of a hypoglycaemic coma from the sound of it. He is very ill but I think she is more ill. She needs sectioning. Somebody in the states please report this video to the police and medical regulatory body. |

I feel duty-bound to state what will be obvious to 99% of the people reading this: Gangrene is a serious condition that can kill, usually by poisoning the rest of the body with the toxins produced by the decaying flesh. For anyone to try to treat this with "urine therapy" (i.e., drinking one's own urine) is the worst kind of quackery and why we have an FDA. The woman making this video ought to be spending time in a federal prison for practicing medicine, if you can call it that, without a license. |
