- Bullpoo on 70% of that. Women here in the states, on average, get less of a salary than men and there are instances of rape here where the victims are blamed.

Also, there are Christians here in the states pushing for Christian based reforms in politics. Teaching "Creationism" in school, "In god we trust", "the US was founded on Christian ideals". Hell, people made a big deal b/c they thought Obama was a "muslim". |

whodat: That may be true, However socially islam, in particular sharia law, has been responsible for rolling back the clock in the middle east.

Until the islamic countries accept the rest of the world's societal and legal norms, then there will not be any lasting peace in the region. |

That's true, and they were killing each other the whole time. Intellectual & scientific progress aren't hindered if a country/region is at war. WWII is perfect example. |

It wasn't clearly offside, and he does appear to "chest" the ball although he got his left arm in a terrible position. Just my Canadian Humble Opinion!

@IRockYeah: It was British policy around the Empire to pit one local "tribe" against another, let them fight, then step in "to make peace" (and beat them both into submission).
They did it everywhere, but it worked especially well in Africa and the Middle East. They're not "soley" to blame, but they sure didn't help the situation.
Plus they restricted Jews from escaping Europe before, during AND AFTER WW2... |

Jews and Palestinians lived together pretty harmoniously for a while. Things got screwed up when the world started redrawing the maps. The religious aspect is just a superficial division. |

Source? I can't find anything to corroborate this. Why would he play for an Israeli team if he was anti-semitic?
Anyway, the quotes from the fans don't seem to care one way or another if he's made anti-Israel comments. This quote just makes them sound like ignorant idiots:

On the other hand, if they knew he was playing, why buy a ticket and go in the first place? I'd have saved money and just stayed home. |

I don't think any of us are saying anything to the contrary. Israel contributes a lot to the world. I posted this mainly because I thought it was despicable, and also to counter the prevailing opinion that the only bigoted side of the conflict is Arabs/Muslims. |
