kingdomCome: It wasn't until the 90's that BMX bikes even had small shocks on the front forks. The very first "mountain bikes" were just modified cruisers, originally called "clunkers". Those 80's clunkers wouldn't be able to handle a course like this either, their frames just wouldn't be able to handle the stress. |

They aren't riding the type of BMX bikes available when I was a kid in the 80's. Ours had no shocks, much smaller wheels, no multiple gears and much weaker brakes.
If someone tried that course using an 80's BMX bike they'd kill themselves. |
