My initial though was this was a prank done to someone's cubicle. I can't imagine many places being ok with you hanging pictures from the ceiling. |

I bet it looks that way to ward off encroachment.
Ten years ago, I did something similar to my office.
Working with superstitious (Christian) co-workers, my office (and work) was covered with pentagrams, fire and the like.
Didn't have a problem with things going missing after that and my desk chair was always in the same position I left it... |
