Unless Goku picked up some Kryptonite, Superman would win. I was a huge Dragonball fan as kid/teen, and Goku died several times over the course of several series. Goku can die, Superman can only die under a certain set of conditions, do you really need to think any more about it. |

@Canoas - except THAT article was not written by Chad or Ben (or anyone involved with the reaserch of the Death Battle.
@Fwoggie2 They based all the Death Battles around that show Spike had a while back "Deadliest Warrior"
@beternal And Goku was voiced by MasacoX from Dragonball Z abridged.
I still think my favourite battle has been Starscream (Transformers) vs Rainbow Dash (My Little Pony) |

I've always thought that Superman was an overpowered character.
Though I have to disagree with them about Goku not being able to breathe in space.
I believe Goku did not -know- he could breathe in space. Vegeta threatened to blow up the Earth with Vegeta still on the planet. Vegeta therefore would have to have known that he could breathe. Frieza told Goku that Goku couldn't survive in space, but this was most likely a bluff to scare Goku, knowing full well that Goku grew up on Earth, without gaining knowledge of his full potential.
In the DBZ movie, Brodock and all the other Saiyans were in space to do a showdown with Frieza.
Now this isn't a definitive saying that Goku would've won, but it could still sway it in his favor. |

They made an article correcting their own video, and they state that Goku clearly wins. Basically they screwed up in every single quantification of goku's capabilities, like the snake way crossing 1/4 of the whole universe, not just 1 million km. |

What? No. Goku clearly wins for one simple reason: Omega Shenron had enough power to destroy the universe itself, yet Goku fought with almost evenly. |

Despite keeping it with modern superman, superman is absolutely overpowered. It's like not even fun watching or reading superman on some occasions. I like them both a lot, so I'm not even going to question who would really win. |

Goku is my favorite. I have always thought the superman character was just ridiculously overpowered. I have had the goku vs superman discussion with friends before. |
