@Kegomatix: He didn't "rape Mary" she was asked to bear the child (by an Angel) and agreed. Geez!
@Gerry1: Um, they snuck off so the doggie wouldn't watch...
@klaxor: He was naked & happy BEFORE he ate the "forbidden fruit" and later was wearing clothes and disfigured by his sin. DUH! But the doggie still loved him and left Eden to be with him 
I hope I waited long enough so those major spoilers don't spoil it too much.

Because there had to be a geneology for "the masiah". That's why they have all those "begat" chapters. Depending on which bible you look at it might go back to David, Abraham or even Adam |

Note to self: Don't trust 5Cats' evaluations or opinions on anything but cats. I still think he is from Mississippi and only says "eh" once in a while to get us to think he is from Canada. This film is a waste of too much time. |

It was good! However, when the dog was wandering in the beginning, all I could think was, "Hello, this is dog!" I feel this helped the plot. |
