That's called not washing. Wearing them is the same as wearing any clothing, you need to wash them every day or two minimum, just how you would wash your clothes. |

As someone with stretched lobes (and a licensed body piercer), I'd like to explain what more than likely happened to this jackass.
Saw it all the time. About a year and a half ago there was a popularity spike in LARGE (1"+) stretched lobes. Like other fads, everyone wanted it, and they wanted it NOW. I had my lobes at 2" (currently at 1.5), but that took me about 4 years. Kids were trying to get to this size in as little as 6 months, and they were completely drating up their ears in the process. This kid probably stretched them beyond rips and blowouts, to the point where the ear was so thin it died. Had he taken his time or at least taken them out once they ripped, this would have never happened. |
