Ok but liberals must sometimes give their own money? Also, what if there is a disaster and republicans are in power, does that mean they will never allow taxes to be used to sort it out? |

Confused by what a Liberal is in America - the other day people were criticising Liberals for suggesting you do things for others and contribute to society and community.
Finker, you certainly are confused. The person who suggested that we should VOLUNTARILY help others was a conservative. The liberal is the guy suggesting that we should pass laws that let the government take money from people who earn it by force and under threat of imprisonment so liberals can give give it away to their friends and supporters, like Solyndra and the ObamaPhone lady.

Presenting it this way guarantees that the advice won't be listened to. Becoming a responsible adult is something you have to learn through experience. A few nudges in the right direction can help, and some conversations at crucial points...but in the end it will either click for them, or it won't.
And after that there's not much you can do to change them. |
