Anyone paying attention to this at all? Did anyone understand this? Testing, testing, one two three. Is this thing on?

This video doesn't take into account that there is no budget. If congress passes one, the president could veto it, which means all three branches have to approve the budget. This video is bologna. Although politics sucks a fat egg.

What a crock of poo. They could pay for the imaginary road (states pay for roads, not the Federal Govt.) by not paying the 150th week of unemployment to deadbeat losers or not paying for studies of the mating habits of dung beetles or not paying for midnight blurnsball for crackhead gang bangers.
It's not Congress blaming the President, it's the responsible half of Congress (the House) blaming the irresponsible half (the Senate) for breaking the law by not passing a budget for 4 years. Explain why Harry Reid's not in jail for that!

The problem we are having is not really about the debt limit, but about the budget. We haven't had a budget in the last 4 years, we've had stop-gap partial spending bills.
The House of Representatives has passed budgets, but Harry Reid, Senate Majority Leader, hasn't even let them come up for debate let alone a vote. Reid has been playing Pres. Obama's linebacker for the last 4 years, blocking these budgets so that Obama wouldn't look bad for vetoing them.
This collusion between Reid and Obama is a stealth veto, and because of that collusion we keep running into this debt limit ceiling.

The video didn't actually cover all of the bases on this topic, actually very few.

Paying your Visa bill by putting it on your Mastercard is not "paying your bills". When will Americans understand this?

Yeah, that about sums it up: It's stupid.
Of course the PotUS could VETO and deficit-laden Budget...
Or the USA could actually PASS a Budget! They haven't since... 2009?
