@ Madduck - to answer your question, no we don't ever grow up. The main reason I'm nagging my boy for a grandbaby is so I can play with the crayons again and not get put into a home.
But your example of "running into walls" was funny as the most recent example of that here at IAB is a girl doing it.

I know it is dumb, how about the game of 'knuckles'- very common in teenage boys. Or smilyes done with a clipper, they do REALLY dangerous dumb stuff and think it is really funny. Jackass was very popular for just that reason..... |

@madduck: Not our fault some women enjoy different forms of entertainment. Don't label it as immature because women wouldn't do it. I know plenty of women that act like spolit teenagers.
...But running into walls is just dumb. That is not immature because not even kids would do that. It is just stupid. Just like trying this out on a concrete floor... |

do men ever grow up? I read a while back that in around 1221 or so the mean age was around 15, most adults were about 18- 21, and very few men went past about 40- which meant the pool of experience just was not there. Thus English history was shaped by - basically- teenage boys. Which explains a lot about wars, jousting etc. Then looked out to see a group of lads -all around 15 running into a wall as fast as they could to see if they could knock themselves out. While laughing like drains....... |
