The description is an unoriginal rip off.

i think he has a point. why should only the man be responsible for everything? yes, why arent women more nice to their men if they think they dont spend enough time with them?

And Madduck, I'm saying the old reptile deserves no slack. The old reptile's point is people in marriage look to their own needs and when that runs things into the ditch, you can fix things by every once in a while making empty gestures.

If women don't turn into fat, nagging hags after marriage, then how do you explain the popularity of strip clubs?

No Capt Kangaroo- that's not what we are saying. Every one is giving the old reptile a bit of slack. It takes two to tango- or to not tango. Marriage is not just about sex- it is much more, sex is the glue that sticks you together while the rest goes to poo... then it gets better and so on..

So if I understand the prevailing rationale here, 1)People(Mostly women) let themselves go after marriage.
2)If they do, you don't have to bang 'em 'cause they're repulsive.
3) If you're not banging them, you don't have to give them any attention.
4) taking them to a cheap hotel every once in a while will save your marriage.
5) This is the sum total of 'wisdom' Mr. Robertson has gleaned from his 58 years of marriage.
No bloody freaking wonder the divorce rate in this country is as high as it is.
My wife and I will have been married 37 years this March, and we're pretty happy with each other.
We didn't do it by being petty and selfish, as Mr. Robertson advises.

i'm puzzled to say, i kinda agree with Pat here,
First he did the right thing by saying that it might not be dad, (which is a good thing since kids should blame one of their parents, mariage is a bicycle built for two) he just uhmm was somewhat akward in his expression (i'm cutting him massive slack)and yeah you both have to work at it, and Gerry made a very valid point. the thing that wasn't adressed is that the kid should be a kid working out his life, and not have or want to be involved in his parents mariage. thats no good for the kid. and it does say smth about the family which needs adressing.

The video's title is slightly misleading, but he does sort of imply that. It's true that a lot of women don't keep themselves up physically when they get married, but his implication is pretty old world. A lot of men could probably help around the house more so that their wives have time and motivation to keep themselves looking good. She's not going to fix herself up as much if she has to do all the chores and take care of the kids while you watch TV.

to be fair the same can be said for guys and maybe the mom is still attractive and the husband isn't so he took to online gaming which only adds logic to that thought.

Also, I love this woman. She's probably a cutter after years of kissing this old racist, sexist, morons a$$.

I am shocked to say that I aggreed with Pat Robertson, insofar as that I would drink too if I was married to a slagathor. I drink anyway, but if I did not drink, I would start in that situation.

He's also right. Many women think once they're married, it's a done deal and they don't have to put in as much effort as before. It's a two-way street people..

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I read that title "Pat Robertson on Keeping the Romance Alive" and I started laughing out loud even before viewing it.

After watching, he actually gave some good advice. I hate it when people let themselves go and then don't understand why they're not getting as much sex. "He's supposed to love me no matter how I look." Yes, he does still love you with his heart, but he's just doesn't find you sexually attractive.

Did your husband like to date fat chicks before you married? No? Well I guess he's just not into fat chicks.

So, ladies and gents, take care of yourself. Make yourself appealing to the other person. If you bitch and rag all the time who the hell would want to hang out with you? Be nice.

To be fair to the ghastly old fart- he did not say women were usually to blame ( as per vid title) , just that it was not one sided and people should keep the romance alive. He is kinda right, although at no point did he mention washing up or any other behaviour. only that women did not always look pretty..so...
