Wednesday, January 09, 2013 10:12:50 AM SavageChief, B-P was probably a repressed homosexual but there is no evidence he acted on his impulses. Which is unfortunate for him. |

Tuesday, January 08, 2013 10:51:24 PM Oh, come on. I read that Lord Baden Powell, the originator of the Boy Scouts, was a total homosexual. So what is the problem with gay scouts? |

Tuesday, January 08, 2013 9:56:21 PM Hazarabedian is an awesome last name. Also, as a former eagle scout, I'd really like to see BSA change their viewpoint on this issue. |

Tuesday, January 08, 2013 8:04:02 PM Unfortunately, what I get out of reading this article is: Scouting just lost 3 good adult leaders This article says he passed a district board of review. For those not familiar with Boy Scouts of America, that is just a group of 3 local adults (in fact, I believe that only 1 of the 3 on the board even has to be registered in Scouting, the others can just be non-registered parents or something). Next his application has to go onto council review where it will get rejected. And most likely the 3 adults who sat on his board of review will also get banned from scouts. |

Tuesday, January 08, 2013 7:43:25 PM I was a boy scout in my youth (first class was my highest rank). The BSA is on the wrong side of history and righteousness in this regard. Although he was not out of the closet, we were all pretty sure our scoutmaster was gay. He was one of the greatest men I ever knew. There is right and wrong, and then wrong headedness.
