@Zymotical: She did fire 6 times, says the article. She was out of ammo, but ordered him to lay on the floor while she ran away with her kids. (He didn't know it was empty, obviously)
Perhaps she loaded it while hiding? Putting all 6 bullets in? OR it might be a revolver that takes more than 6? idk...
The point is: She's safe, her kids are safe, becuase she DID have a gun.
ALSO: Some folks are confused as to where she was: It was a "crawlspace" accessed off her in-home office, not up in the "attic" above the house. iirc the newscast is confusing, but the article is clearer about it.
He may have been opening doors randomly, or heard them in there & was coming after them, it doesn't say. |

You typically dont keep 6 rounds in a revolver, good safety you leave the next chamber to fire empty to avoid accidental discarges.

You're allowed to defend yourself from harm in almost every damn country in the world, so no in Canada you will not be arrested if you were in danger in your own home.
Also, gun control doesn't mean a ban on guns, it means you need to be a sane individual that can get a licence..and a handgun is all you need for situations like this, a gun doesn't need to be an extension to your small penis, get a hummer like the rest of the fools. |
