I've always found it easy to get through customs with weed when coming back from Amsterdam....usually by having large quantities of it in my blood stream before arriving at the airport.
I have brought small quantities back a couple of times in smoke packets and really obvious places...whether they didn't find it in my hand luggage or just weren't interested in the odd gram of skunk I'll never know.
And in Europe it's pretty easy to cross borders with it if you've bought it in Amsterdam because the first you notice you've actually crossed a border is as a sign saying 'welcome to ....' whizzes past the car window - there are very rarely any police or customs presence at them.

Every airport that I've been thru won't let you past the security check point with a water bottle.

Guy rides up to US Customs on a bike one day. He's got two big sand bags slung over the rack.
"What's in the bags?" asks Customs agent.
"Uh-huh. Pull over there!" The agent goes thru the bags with a sifter, can't find a thing in what looks like plain sand. Reluctantly, he lets him go.
Next week, the same scenario, word for word, goes down. And then the next week, and the next. The Customs agent is going nuts. After going thru 20 bags, he starts waving the guy thru.
A few years later, the agent finally retires, and is surprised to meet the cyclist in a bar one day. He buys him a drink, and says "C'mon, you can tell me. What were you smuggling all those years?"
Thank-you; I'll be here all week.

Obviously stupid, because carrying stuff through customs is for the desperate or stupid. That's on the stupid side.

Wouldn't work at all in America. They don't allow water bottles past security any more.

Did it not occur to them it wouldn't make it through because of the 100ml limit on fluids?
