Friday, January 04, 2013 11:44:40 AM @drawman @HumanAction, I've been watching the news for the past few weeks. So... the news has told you that it is legal to shoot your fellow citizens? This is why I do not trust the news. I assure you that it is quite illegal. |

Friday, January 04, 2013 6:47:48 AM Only in America would they punish a child for this whilst allowing adults to shoot each other because it's their right. In the US, it is illegal to shoot others... Hence, you are not allowed to do so. I'm not sure how you came to consider the opposite to be true. |

Friday, January 04, 2013 12:19:01 AM Sad times, I can remember when we ran about with plastic guns and rifles playing army. And no one would bat an eyelid. Nowadays there would be a armed response team flicking laser sights at you. the world is fecked up, truly fecked up

Thursday, January 03, 2013 11:21:45 PM If this kid was really a threat, the teacher could have pulled his own finger gun and shot him before too many kids had to play dead. "pew, pew, pew" |

@ IRockYeah - It never occured to me until I read your rant, but what DID your generation do? Seems like I can't think of a single accomplishment. I'm sure there must be something.... space?...no invented the.....no discovered the.... no Well I'm buggered if I can think of anything. |

Thursday, January 03, 2013 11:18:42 PM I think before you're allowed to to teach or supervise six-year-olds, you should have to prove you're smarter than a six-year-old. That would have solved this problem before it started. |

Thursday, January 03, 2013 7:26:33 PM I used to run around the playground in kindergarten with another kid playing 'guns'. Basically we'd just chase each other pointing fingerguns and saying bang |

Thursday, January 03, 2013 7:09:39 PM Why is a huge portion of my generation and the new generation of parents the worst parents ever? They are helicopter parents. They call their kids at college every day to wake them up??? They overreact about stupid things like kids playing cops and robbers. WTH? |

Thursday, January 03, 2013 6:44:41 PM That's the problem with schools these days. The parents automatically assume that their "little angel" never causes trouble, and the teachers and staff are in the wrong. Yeah you get the old "well you're old, it was horrible back then" lines from kids. Maybe so but my generation can add up without devices, we can read stories without losing concentration and we can be creative. Don't tell me my generation achieved nothing either. I'll let the internet explain what my generation did. |

Thursday, January 03, 2013 5:28:07 PM Quite right too. To ensure the punishment fits the crime, they should make him *mime* writing "I must not shoot my classmates with pretend pistols" on a blackboard 100 times. |

Thursday, January 03, 2013 5:26:54 PM "Roscoe Nix School" Considering that "Rosco" is old gangster lingo for a gun, that's actually quite apt and rather funny. |

The kid was sent to the principal 3 times just that one day. But of course "I didn't do nothin' " and his lame ass parents believe him. Sounds like they got tired of him disrupting class for everyone and just sent him packing for a few days. My dad would not have been bad at the school, he'd have whooped me! |
