I'm sure the UK's working on that along with the ban of sharp objects(well more so.) Only aproved sporks will be legal to use with a proper license. |

I love how all these stories keep popping up about people that have illegal firearms and then the Europeans scream out "Gun control!"...um...they have the guns illegally...would gun control matter? Not at all...they have the guns illegally. |

No, ban them all from the USA. If I wanted to get a firearm, I'd have to go to another country to get one.
Yeah, that's worked so well with drugs. Kids have to drive all the way to Mexico to buy pot now. |

HA! The caption contradicts itself! New York has some of the strictest gun laws in the U.S.! More guns in the right hands is a good thing. The lunatic shooter already killed his Grandmother and was a Felon, so it was illegal for him to obtain a weapon, as well. The Police showed up and exchanged fire with the suspect, and the article states, "possibly saving many lives". If an armed person was there before that cop, the same results would have been likely. Thank God the cops showed up in time, this time, but what if they couldn't? |

I'm sure someone already brought this up, but guess what? The guy's a convicted felon, did 17 years for killing his own f*cking grandmother. Those convicted of felonies in NY State are not allowed to own firearms therefore the weapons he had were illegal. You can take your "We clearly need more guns to stop this" caption and stick it right up your a$$. |

He was not legally allowed to own any firearms as a felon. So... that law worked out great didn't it.
More gun laws will do absolutely nothing to stop this sort of thing, it will actually inhibit responsible gun owners from taking action against crazy a-holes like this |

"Police officers rushed to the scene, and one of the first ones there exchanged fire, "in all likelihood, (saving) many lives," according to the police chief."
So YES, more guns DID save people's lives. For sure the two wounded firefighters would have been killed too, plus others who would have arrived, if not for the Police SHOOTING BACK.
This guy was convicted of First Degree Murder! But he was out, walking around, free as a bird... Thanks to "liberals"... |

No one's answered my query:
Why are the very same people who are OPPOSED to the death penalty, "because it doesn't prevent crimes" so strongly FOR more gun laws? Do new laws "prevent crime"?
@Randy: It doesn't fit the "meme" so it is ignored. ONLY guns kill people, not bombs, fire or airplanes...
This dude had illegally aquired guns, no law in the universe would have prevented this. Period! |
