Small world. I lived in Elk Mound before joining the Navy and I went to Memorial for Freshman year.
Ha, no kidding... I live about 5 minutes away from Memorial. I was going to rent a house in Elk Mound when I first moved into the area but they could only get satellite internet =(. |

I think the worst sports rivalry is between NY Yankees & Boston Red Sox fans. All of the fans HATE each other with a passion and aren't afraid to show it. Last year my brother and I went to Boston for a weekend to see the Allman Brothers on a Fri & Sat night at The Orpheum Theatre. We were wandering around Boston Saturday afternoon to kill time and I noticed that I was getting dirty looks, a few people even yelled some obscenities/insults from across the street and I was thinking, "WTF is going on here? What did I do?" Then I saw my reflection in the window of a shop and realized that I was wearing a NY Yankees hat so it all made sense, hahaha! |
