Saturday, December 15, 2012 7:37:28 AM I was going to defend the girl but I see from the comments here I don't need to. Great work guys, I'm pleased to see your understanding and acceptance. |

Saturday, December 08, 2012 9:08:46 PM Silly girl, it isn't what you wear, it's what you listen to in your cubicle that defines you. |

Saturday, December 08, 2012 1:38:13 PM I see nothing wrong here, know plenty of punks, goths, who have been such since kids, and are still happy like it in their 40's |

Saturday, December 08, 2012 1:30:19 PM I always liked girls in the alt lifestyles, but it was so hard to find ones that were dressing that way because it was an expression of themselves and not just them trying to fit in with their friends... When I dated a girl like that, she was usually the loner type, with no interest in just trying to wear what her friends were wearing. |

Saturday, December 08, 2012 4:15:26 AM This is TV????- glad I don't watch it. Girl looks fine, as long as she is happy and fulfilled no one should care what she wears. she may change her look or she may not, plenty more important things for a parent to worry about... |

Friday, December 07, 2012 11:26:43 PM I've been through phases. piercings, dyed hair etc. I still love the look, but found it hard to be taken seriously at work. liberty spikes or mohawks are just not practical in a workshop, and I can't justify spending hundreds of dollars on a tattoo nowadays. Looking too 'exotic' can also narrow your social circles too. I have respect for those that refuse to change or 'grow up', but I don't think you need to dress/look a certain way to enjoy punk/metal/industrial etc. |

Friday, December 07, 2012 6:23:30 PM I know plenty of heavy metal/punk chicks, one who I've been dating for 3 years, that never "grew out of it." Whenever I hear people say they "grew out of______" it annoys me because if you grew out of it then it never really was who you are in the first place. You were only trying to "fit in" by "not fitting in" like the hipsters of today. One of my all time favorite song lyrics come from Pantera's song, The Great Southern Trendkill "Buy it at a store, from MTV to on the floor. You look just like a star, it's proof you don't know who you are..." |

drawman61 - Of course they can be shipped away. Even younger than 15. I know a couple kids whose parents sent them to western Samoa. That way those pesky child abuse laws don't get in the way. |
