Giving me flashbacks from my own wipe-out a week or two ago. I feel his pain. (Diesel spills also dump braking bikes, break ribs.)

@den3- I guess you don't ride motorcycles. You would then know that if you lock the front brake the tire slides and the bike goes out from under you. To do a stoppie requires a deliberate and specific application the brakes to get the bike to lever the cg over the front wheel. |

@den3jlb, Aren't you a pretentious snot. You think he just "doesn't know how to operate his brakes? I logged in just to say you're a drating moron. Look at it again, dip! The bike goes absolutely vertical due to the bump, and lands on its front wheel, which immediately turns out from under the bike because, last time I checked, drattard, it's impossible to balance a police bike straight up and down, especially coming down from the apex of such a launch. Amazing. |

Nothing to do with the hitting the speed bump. He simply jammed on his front brake and locked the front wheel. |

He braked on the approach to the bump, but did not release before he hit it. Front suspension bottomed-out, forks solid. Bound to go base over apex! lack of training and road observation.
(could have been swerving to avoid a mouse or something though) |
