You are out of your mind. You think we could overthrow the government with violence because we had machine guns? Machine guns don't much matter against smart bombs and fighter jets, unless, of course, you think we should have access to tanks and atomic bombs. |

They don't need to advertise it, gun and ammunition sales have been booming since Nov 2008!
And places where (legal) sales are highest? Gun violence has DROPPED... |

@Cajun247: He is pushing to re-instate the assault weapons ban permanently. A quick google search sill confirm. Not that I see reliable proof that he is after it directly but more as a total crack down on violence in general.

A lot of organizations like the NRA are using Obama as a way of boosting membership and revenue. On the surface, they hate Obama. Underneath, they love him. |
