Friday, November 30, 2012 10:36:30 PM "Which they have every right to do." Except they don't if they want to keep their tax exempt status. Actually, that provision in the IRS code is blatantly unconstitutional, and it has never been enforced. It is only used to intimidate conservative pastors into silence, while liberal pastors - particularly liberal African-American pastors - are never questioned about their routinely and flagrantly flouting this rule. However, this year hundreds of conservative pastors spoke out in favor of Republicans and against Democrats -- mostly with regard to the issues of abortion and gay marriage -- and sent the videos of their sermons to the IRS, defying them to try to enforce their unconstitutional rule. So far, not one has heard back from them. |

Thursday, November 29, 2012 1:34:09 PM Maybe he was under a contract, and was required to do this to prevent facing legal issues. He didn't actually withdrawal any statements, and i wouldn't either if i were in his shoes. TV today is pretty lame. |

Wednesday, November 28, 2012 9:07:35 PM "19 year olds are stupid. Give the kid a break." He got a break. Its called a kick ass paying job and he is throwing it away. At the end of the day he doesn't deserve (or apparently want) what he has. So for no reason should he still be receiving it. I feel no sympathy for the idiot, he is asking to get fired and he should get just that. |

Wednesday, November 28, 2012 4:45:37 PM Also, of course, if he has any integrity he should refuse to accept the huge piles of money he gets from residuals or donate it directly to a charity (and I mean a charity, not a religious organisation). Otherwise, by his own claims he is voluntarily and continually profiting from filling people's minds with filth. That would make him a very bad person by his own standards and a hypocrite by objective standards. |

Wednesday, November 28, 2012 4:38:23 PM Did any of you say anything stupid when you were kids? He's not a kid. He's an adult. I don't recall saying anything *that* stupid when I was a kid, anyway. Also, he hasn't retracted what he said or apologised for it. His latest statement does neither of those things - it's just him trying to pretend that what he did wasn't what it was, that he didn't say that the people he's "apologising" to have devoted a lot of time and effort into collaborating together to fill people's minds with filth, that the filth is entirely their fault. He's like some sleazy politician trying to ooze out of a scandal with more deception. |

Wednesday, November 28, 2012 2:43:09 PM "Did any of you say anything stupid when you were kids?" You mean like "The show I'm in about a father trying to teach morality to his son while competing with the glitter of overindulgence" is filth? No, I've never said anything like that. It looks like he never watched his own show. |

Wednesday, November 28, 2012 1:20:10 PM Did any of you say anything stupid when you were kids? No? Course not. Besides, the show needs all the publicity it can get. Asston Cusher < Charlie "winning" Sheen. |

Wednesday, November 28, 2012 11:53:29 AM So, kids, this is what you should have learned: 1) Religion will help you to ruin your own life. 2) Putting sane people in with insane people is more likely to create more insanity than it is to help insane people become well... |

Wednesday, November 28, 2012 10:19:15 AM @madest: "A future Jerry Mathers" Really? Of all the "child stars gone bad" you could have referenced, you chose The Beav as your example? One of the few who actually invested well and remained successful in life? Angus should BE so lucky as to emulate Jerry Mathers. Now, if you had called him a future Dana Plato, or Todd Bridges you might have had a point. |

Wednesday, November 28, 2012 9:20:02 AM I'm with FoSchizle, he didn't apologize for anything he said, he apologized for any misunderstanding that anyone might have mistook his comments as disrespect for his coworkers. "The show is shiite, but the people are great." |
