Tuesday, November 20, 2012 3:56:32 PM I wish this could be the death of Elmo. I can't stand anyone or anything that talks in third person. |

Tuesday, November 20, 2012 12:55:50 PM Anyone seen the puppet episode of Black Dynamite? I had assumed Elmo would eventually turn down that dark path. |

Tuesday, November 20, 2012 12:47:08 PM First he's guilty, then he's innocent, now he's in trouble again? Yup! Time to retire bud! It's just going to get worse if you hang around... |

Tuesday, November 20, 2012 12:18:38 PM At 15, I was old enough to understand what sex was, who I wanted to have it with and the impact that underage shenanigans could have on my partner, even if s/he was also underage. These men are just asshats. |

Tuesday, November 20, 2012 11:19:38 AM I would never minimise the vileness of sexual exploitation of the vulnerable, but I know two people whose lives and careers were shattered by accusations which later turned out to be false. Too late if a year later you are cleared, it's done. Even if you can work with kids again, why would you? We have had a bit of a witch hunt in the UK in the wake of the Jimmy Savile thing. Lord MacAlpine delivered a salutary slap to that; If you implied or suggested on social media that he was a paedo then apologise and pay a fiver to charity or face some bad-ass lawyers out for the kill.

Tuesday, November 20, 2012 11:00:38 AM Now a second guy looking for a big payday is accusing him of the exact same thing. Claims it took him 20 years (and hearing someone else got money) to realize the psychological damage he has from having sex at 15 with an older man he met in a chat room and willingly dated and accepted gifts from. Poor, poor teenager. Even if it's not true, once this whole thing started, you know Clash wouldn't make it out alive. Like a shark feeding frenzy now. Amazing how something you did 20 years ago when you are a nobody can come back to bite you when you actually have something to lose. Assuming Clash did it, that is. |

Tuesday, November 20, 2012 10:43:41 AM He's resigning because a second accusation came forward after the first one was dropped. I assume it was a case of them strongly recommending he resign. |

Tuesday, November 20, 2012 10:40:30 AM I don't understand. It seems like we have all the information we need. He had a sexual relationship with someone who, at first, tried to claim it wasn't appropriate, but later recanted and said it was consensual. Is he resigning because he's afraid that parents won't be able to handle his sexual orientation? Because that sucks. |
