Sunday, November 18, 2012 5:15:29 PM Part Of A Series! Green Bean "Matherole" ! I won't suggest it since this one wasn't that popular... Onions are next though! |

I started keeping the skins on when I got too lazy to peal them. Then I got so lazy I just use instant mashed potatos. |

Saturday, November 17, 2012 3:55:36 PM I seriously doubt the next Einstein is going to sprout forth from making a triangular 'mathed' potato gravy bowl. |

Saturday, November 17, 2012 1:11:36 PM ...and...Mashed potatoes with the skin on is called "smashed" potatoes. As long as you are using a thin skinned potato, it is very good. |

Saturday, November 17, 2012 1:10:33 PM For once I can agree with, 5Cats. Vi is fantastic. It's kids like her that are going to bring us the next Einstein. |

Saturday, November 17, 2012 12:52:02 PM McDuff73: Lots of people. Adds texture, and if you steam the potatoes instead of boiling, it also contains more nutrients and is healthier. Of course, you're just going to dump gravy on them anyways. Plus, I prefer a bit more texture to my mathed/mashed/smashed potatoes. It's also one less step to do in preparation. |

Saturday, November 17, 2012 11:37:40 AM Wait, what? Y'all are jealous of her active brain! lolz! @sutra46 & MacGuffin: That kind of potato? You can eat the skin too. @CrakrJak: Um yeah? It would be WEIRD if she suddenly stated talking about "post-modern expressionsim & gravy" eh? Isn't it NICE to talk about something OTHER THAN politics? (OR religion, OR AGW...) All praises to Vi! |
