I hate that so many people are losing their jobs and that for some they are losing their favorite snacks. But for me personally it doesn't matter cause as long as Little Debbie doesn't stop making Christmas Tree Cakes I'm good

Thing I find hilarious the final nail in the coffin (they survived past 09 could have again) was a union strike. Bet everyone who paid their fee's is really happy their union lost them their jobs. As I've said before Unions need to show restraint or they do a disservice to their people. |

sheesh, I can't remember the last time I ate anything by Hostess. I did have SuzyQs for breakfast when I slept in my lab senior year of college but after I graduated, not so much. Not like there's not an entire aisle of other diabetes starters. |

Wow, that fat lady seemed really upset over this. When I heard Hostess was going under, I thought to myself that I wouldn't mind having at least one more Twinkie, considering I haven't had one for at least 5 years or more. If I remember correctly, they really aren't all that good anyway. |

I dreamed last night it was 40 or 60 years in the future, and people were DUMB! Pedestrians would just wander into traffic, advertising was everywhere!
Not as bad as in Idiocracy, but the ATM told me "Please remove your hand to avoid injury" just in case you forgot to let go of the deposit envelope...
Folks were polite, honest and happy though...
Then I wake up: and people are DUMB NOW! Zomg  |

For those of you fearing the loss of Twinkies, Ding Dongs and Ho Hos, There are alternatives. Little Debbie makes Cloud Cakes, Devil Squares, and Swiss Rolls that are just as good, if not better. |

Yeah, not like they'll be selling all their assets including recipes, patents, equipment, etc. Before you know it the same damn thing will be back on the shelves in a different box. Oh yeah, dont't forget the generic brands that are still out there. This lot of 5 boxes of Twinkies is up $3950.00, still 9 hrs left in the auction. |
